Jennifer T. Grainger has been helping people publish their books since 1996. Her first published book, Call From The Heart, by Martina Dobesh, won three awards from the 1996 Sacramento Publishers Association Book Awards. (Sacramento Publishers Association is now known as Northern California Publishers and Authors).
After years of helping others get their books published, Jennifer published her own book in 2006, Becoming Conscious: One Woman’s Story of Spiritual Awakening.

What will Jennifer do at the Elk Grove Writers Conference on 10/27/2018?
Jennifer will do approximately six 20-minute Editor Appointments at the Holiday inn, 9175 W. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove in a glassed-in conference room separate from the main conference activities.
What can you expect from Jennifer and your appointment?
In the appointment, Jennifer will critique 5-7 pages of your manuscript, so you can see, for yourself, what she’s doing. She will then tell you the reason for each comment or edit and answer your questions.
How do I prepare for my Editor Appointment?
Bring 5 to 7 pages from your manuscript that are double-spaced with a one-inch margin. Let Jennifer know who your intended audience is and if you plan to self-publish or seek an agent/publisher. If you have a section that is particularly troublesome, bring it and Jennifer can make suggestions on how to “fix” it.
